Company History
JobSearchOne, LLC was founded in 2003 by Dr. Barry Leon, who after working in both corporate Human Resources and the Outplacement industry for many years, saw the need to provide a high quality, ethical, on-line outplacement/career transition service to the general public. He conceived the idea to provide service through an interactive website supported by individualized coaching. Recognizing that he needed someone with exceptional depth in Outplacement and Career Transition thinking, he partnered with Howard Campbell, a Certified Career Management Fellow, in early 2004. Campbell has spent more than twenty-five years developing, using and training others to use the most effective approaches to outplacement and career transition. He is also a widely sought after speaker.
Later in 2004 Leon and Campbell asked Bob Steinmetz to join them as their financial expert. Steinmetz has served in financial positions of increasing responsibility over the past twenty years including being CFO of a $100 million multi-national manufacturer.
Together this group has more than a century of experience in career services, corporate human resources and line management.
Now JobSearchOne, LLC is the premier provider of job search and career management services to professionals, managers and executives in all industries. It offers a full range of services from assessment and career planning, through resume development to interview and negotiation coaching, plus all of the steps in between. All of this is provided through a sophisticated yet user-friendly website and supported by professional career coaches, each of whom are members of the Association of Career Professionals, International.
