JSO E-Calendar
The JSO E-Calendar is actually two calendars in one. It is a personal scheduling and time management tool, like most e-calendars, but it also contains the JSO General E-calendar, which displays all JSO-wide events, meetings, conferences, deadlines and training sessions. And, you can access it anywhere you can connect to the internet!
The personal JSO E-Calendar has two primary functions. Like most e-calendars, it is a tool for scheduling your time. You can enter all of your coaching sessions, job interviews, meetings, networking meetings, events and phone calls, reminders, and tasks easily and quickly. It is specifically set up to use for a job search but, of course, you can use it to schedule other events as well.
Secondly, it sends data to your personal JSO Dashboard, so you can track your progress, one of the most critical activites of a well run search. For example, when you schedule a job interview, your Job Interviews total on your JSO Dashboard is increased by one. You must use your e-calendar to schedule the job interview or other events, for them to appear on your dashboard. So, as you can see, it is critical to do so. In this way, the e-calendar becomes a key tool for managing your search.
The JSO E-Calendar, which is searchable and can be printed, allows you to display daily, weekly, monthly or yearly views. You can also export or import events to and from the JSO E-Calendar. In addition, it automatically downloads each Task that is entered to a Task List.
