Assessments

Our assessments are designed to help you understand your career preferences as well as identify your strengths and weaknesses as they relate to your personality and the work environment. There are two types of assessments in the JSO Process.

Career Preference

Career Preference contains five separate brief but powerful self-report assessments which, when combined, will provide you with a complete picture of the way in which you view work and the elements that are most important to you. These five assessments are:

  1. What Am I Doing Now
  2. Personal Values
  3. Work-Life Balance
  4. Work Orientation Factors
  5. Personal Vision

In addition, there is a Summary Review of all five of these assessments that highlights the implications for your job search and career.

Take Five

The second assessment, Take Five, is designed to assist you in identifying your strengths as they relate to the working environment. This information can be very useful when, in an interview, you are asked, “So, tell me about yourself?” or “Tell me what you think your strengths are?”

The Take Five Assessment will help you identify:

  1. Your specific job-related strengths
  2. How you perform your best work
  3. How you feel about yourself
  4. How you prefer communication to occur at work
  5. What type of environment you like to work in.
